[adsenseyu1]Hi today I want to share with you one of the biggest problems in the church today.
In 1 Corintians 8 it says Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.
Many people in the church today have great knowledge when it comes to the word of God and what it says. They could recite almost any scripture that you throw their way.
They can preach many sermons on different topics because of their knowledge of what the word says.
Now this is commendable. The fact that you know what the bible says is a good thing but here is the problem as well.
One of the biggest problems is that we have more knowledge than we are obedient to.
We need less information and we need more revelation.
How many times must someone have to preach to you on forgiveness before you decide to forgive. How many more times must you read about giving before you give.
We need to spend more time applying the word to our lives than learning what the word says.
As you read your bible this week ask yourselves these questions.
1. What is the author asking me to do?
2. Am I doing it?
3. If yes, then keep doing it, if no then start doing it.
You see you need to practice what you learn. It is better to spend 5 minutes reading your bible and 1 hour applying it than the other way around.
